Famous Five Adventure continues…

The images above were kindly sent through by Tony Summerfield, in response to my previous post – they are the original programmes for the two Enid Blyton plays mentioned previously, from the performances at the Princes Theatre in London.

I have just begun reading the typescript of Famous Five Adventure, which seems to have a great many similarities with Five Have Plenty of Fun, also published in 1955.  Although, somewhat confusingly, Five Have Plenty of Fun centres on a young American girl passing herself off as a boy, and Famous Five Adventure features a young American boy passing himself off as a girl.  While I am enjoying the play, I am having a little trouble keeping it all straight in my head!
